The
AMJ Group originated from an office in Paris, France to grow to its current size of 4 subsidiaries over across France and England with its headquarters in Paris. AMJ has in excess of 100 employees whose expertise include IT consultancy,
Software Development,
IT infrastructure and IT Training.
Created in 1986 – Jose Plans started AMJ as an IT Consultancy firm for large corporate enterprises.
In 1990, the company develops by creating a new line of business – The software development arm of the company which is focused on developing bespoke business applications for large organisations.
In 1991, AMJ opens its first training room in central Paris in order to be able to offer IT training services to our clients.
In 1996, AMJ expands further by assisting companies with the challenges of maintaining their IT infrastructure by offering infrastructure design and maintenance services.
In 1997, AMJ expands by acquiring a new company located in Brittany and called “
Oceus Informatique” which becomes the first subsidiary of the AMJ Group.
In 2000, The AMJ Group expand internationally by created a subsidiary in the UK originally called 3DAT UK Ltd.
In 2001, the AMJ Group start to develop its own range of commercial software specialising in mapping technology. As a result a new subsidiary called “
Geosoft” is formed which is located in the South of France.
In 2003, the AMJ multimedia department expands to include graphic design work to increase what we can offer our web development customers.
In 2006, The AMJ Group release its Mapping software in full web edition.
In 2007, AMJ keep at the forefront of the latest software with technologies such as J2EE.
In 2008, The AMJ Group embrace technological advances offered by web 2.0 such as E-learning portals.
Early 2011, The AMJ Group start to offer
mobile technology and create its first mobile project including
mobile applications and
mobile friendly websites.
